1/15/2024 0 Comments Wrestling mpire remix mods![]() The animated eyes go really well with the gore, popping an eye from another person felt oddly satisfying. Watching a promo between two wrestlers with them staring at each other's eyes felt a lot more realistic than watching the same dead expression in Wrestling Revolution 3D. Something that I miss from the older games is the option to retire, this was a nice way to end your character's career peacefully.Įven though a bit derpy sometimes, the animated eyes in the older games were a nice addition. This is something that can now be possible thanks to the keyboard. "keys" to press, so it would be hard to implement the good old easter eggs such as random explosions and other fun stuff. It would be nearly impossible to do it on mobile because there aren't many. I suggest the old system, the player only goes back to the main menu when he wants to.Īnother set of cut features in Wrestling Revolution that I would love to see return on the PC version. In Wrestling Revolution, there's an invisible timer after the match ends and it automatically goes to the main menu, it killed that simulator feeling that the old games had. During that time, you could see the wrestlers, managers and referee going back to the backstage area, just like in real life. In older games, the match only ended when the player pushed the button to skip it after the ref declared a winner. I would love to see the return of both together like before. This is another thing I believe that was cut during mobile limitations, because the backstage area and the arena are 2 separate maps. In old games you would actually see the wrestlers waiting in the gorilla position for their turn to make their entrance and you could go back at any time during the entrance and the match. Something I missed a lot from Wrestling Revolution 3D was the lack of backstage area during the matches that started in the ring. Achievements such as "win the world title" or "perform a 5 star match in management mode" would spice up an already good game with plenty to do. This was already suggested for the collection as an incentive to buy it despite being free, but I think it could be suggested for this game as well. With Steam Workshop, people can showcase their own mods, download from other modders and provide feedback. Instead of going to third party sites, everything can be held here. That system is a great way to share mods between the community. Speaking of modding, the implementation of Steam Workshop would be perfect for this game. I'm not sure if Wrestling Revolution will work the same way, but hopefully it will, it can certainly bring more people into the already existing and thriving modding community of Mdickie games. Truth be told, I suck at modding in general, but those games were so easy to mod that even I could do it. Playing Wrestling Mpire 2008/Remix was fun and I always enjoyed customizing the experience my own way (adding custom songs, custom textures, real promotions and names, etc). If that's the case, bringing back limb loss and permanent blood decals in the ring (during entirity of the match) would be two welcomed features. As I recall in Wrestling Revolution, the gore feature was removed, possibly due to mobile limitations (just like shadows). Something I loved about Wrestling Encore and Wrestling Mpire was the gore, it was so fun dealing with those insane and violent limb losses that happened during the matches and it made the games even more unique compared to other wrestling games. This is basically the same system that "Mortal Kombat: Arcade Kollection" had when it was on Steam, you would run the game and select which of the first three MK games you wanted to play. ![]() ![]() Because of that, I suggest the following workaround: all the games could belong to the same launcher, therefore treating all of the games as just one. One problem with this would be the expenses of bringing each game to Steam (100€ for each launched title). I'm sure people would still buy the collection even without those Steam integrations, even if it's just in the form of a donation. ![]() Some incentives for people to buy those games is if they have Steam achievements implemented, that would be a good reason to sell the collection here. Even though the older games are free, I wouldn't mind paying for a collection including all of them on Steam.
